Bodegas Emilio Moro is family run and has links with the wine world going back three generations. It is located in Pesquera, Ribera del Duero, a land of dry summers and long, hard winters. The vines used are the purest of the indigenous Tempranillo grape varieties known as Tinto Fino. The soils of the Ribera del Duero imbue the wine with a deep colour and good back bone as well as great aromatic potential.
The wine is a deep cherry colour with violet glints in the outer rim. On the nose it is elegant, bringing intense notes of mature fruits and toasty touches which are very well balanced. Powerful on the palate, fleshy and tasty with ripe fruit tannins. Vanilla and balsamic hints coming through with a spiciness derived from the ageing in oak. The finish is powerful, concentrated and balanced.
