La Cana was developed to show off the elegance that can be achieved with this great grape. The vines are planted on sandy, acidic granite rock in the the steep hillside vineyards in the valley of Salnes, Rias Baixas. The groves of rushcanes known locally as juncos, which are as emblematic of Galicia as the Albariño grape itself are depicted on the bottle label.
Offering lush aromas of white peaches and ripe pears followed by flavours of pineapple and bright lime citrus, the wine finishes on a crisp dry note. With 8 months on the lees, this has a persistent taste and leaves a lasting impression.
