Cune Barrel Fermented Blanco
CVNE have been making wine since 1879 based in the station town of Haro at the heart of La Rioja Alta. Confusion when labelling led to their world famous brand “Cune” being born and the winery hasn’t looked back.
Although this is barrel fermented in 50% American oak, the cask ageing is not too pronounced on the palate and adds a lovely creaminess to the texture and body of the wine. A really lovely fresh white wine that pairs with soft cheeses, fish dishes and soups.
