Cune Reserva
CVNE have been making wine since 1879 based in the station town of Haro at the heart of La Rioja Alta. Confusion when labelling led to their world famous brand “Cune” being born and the winery hasn’t looked back.
A long ageing process is followed to get this wine onto our shelves. First there is 18 months in vats followed by 24 months in barrel and finally a further 12 months in bottle. Grapes are chosen from CVNE’s own plots – Caballeros, Santa Tomas & Sarnamoros. A highly aromatic wine with berries and liquorice at the fore and hints of vanilla, spice and balsamic notes blend expertly with the ripe tannins.
