Pilar Esteve, her husband Jose Domench and Joan Llobell decided to found their own winery in 2011. To begin their winemaking adventure, they used the little free space that was left in the couple’s house for the production and storage of their wine. They are at the forefront of the new generation of wine makers focusing on indigenous and lost grapes.
Each variety of grape is fermented separately in small 750 litre vats. Ageing takes place in a mixture of barrel and stainless steel tanks and the wine is bottled with no filtration.
