Bodegas Muga is a family business established in 1932. Since then it has gained international recognition and acclaim through its meticulous adherence to traditional wine-making techniques.
With a minerality that reminds you more of Bordeaux than Rioja, the Torre Muga is full and intense with a palate of damson and plum, mulled cherries and warm spices. It is stored for 24 months in oak, 18 of these in new French oak casks; this not only lends the wine a dark cherry colour, but subtle tones of spices that develop on the palate into strong fruit flavours with balsamic and mineral hints.
