Merit
Perinet winery is spread across 3 distinct areas with their own micro-climates within the Priorat region – Mas Vell which produces fruit driven wine, Mas del Xel which produces fresh and vibrant wines and Pendents which favours a spicy, warmer wine.
Merit is a true reflection of the Priorat soil – Licorella. To retain freshness the grapes are picked early and then left ageing on the lees for 12 months in stainless steel vats to add body and texture. Aromas of wild herbs, wild strawberry compote and a subtle earthy minerality blend with the crisp balsamic notes and hints of liquorice. Fresh, elegant and rounded off with structured tannins. A gorgeous wine that expresses it’s region excellently.
