Founded by Vicente Muñoz in the late 19th century, Bodegas Abadia la Arroyada is located amidst the villages of Terradillos de Esgueva and Sotillo de la Ribera, in the Ribera del Duero region of Castilla y León. The wines are made entirely from grapes sourced in their own vineyards and they pride themselves on the care given to each and every stage of the wine-making process. Deep red in colour, the Abadia Tempranillo Crianza is tasty and well-balanced with a long and complex finish. The product of a careful 21-month process in which the wine is aged in American and French oak, mature fruit aromas are perfectly matched to the spiced and slightly toasted taste from the wood itself.
