Bodegas Cepa 21 is the new ambitious project headed by brothers José and Javier Moro, owners of Bodegas Emilio Moro, one of the most emblematic wineries in the Ribera del Duero. The winery nestles in the middle of fifty hectares of its own Tinto Fino vines.
Aged for 14 months in both French and American oak, the Cepa 21 displays an intense, ripe black cherry colour. It develops with ripe red berry hints, notably mulberry and blackcurrant, intermingled with elegant oaky aromas. On the palate it is powerful with nuances of spice and sweet-tasting cinnamon. A well-balanced wine with a satisfying finish.
