Alicante is one of the oldest DOs in Spain, and wine has been made in this area for over 4,500 years. Founded in 1989, this 20 hectare Mediterranean coast bodega adheres to environmentally friendly production techniques: no insecticides or herbicides are used on their vines, and their soil is nourished by compost from their own cattle.
This wine has spent a total of 10 months in French and American oak. On the nose, the wine shows great fruit intensity and plenty of spice. On the palate, it is smooth with abundant tannins and a rich black fruit character. The finish is long and pleasant.
