Alicante is one of the oldest DOs in Spain, and wine has been made in this area for over 4,500 years. Founded in 1989, this 20 hectare Mediterranean coast bodega adheres to environmentally friendly production techniques: no insecticides or herbicides are used on their vines, and their soil is nourished by compost from their own cattle.
The Mendoza Pinot Noir Crianza has been aged for ten months in new, and one month in old, French oak, giving it an intense ruby red colour with orange edges. On the nose it is smoky with hints of strawberries, while on the palate it has good tannins and structure, plenty of rich red fruit and a persistent finish.
