Having produced sherry for more than two and a half centuries since 1744, Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez and Manzanilla districts. It is located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river.
This wine undergoes oxidative ageing, mainly of the Palomino variety, but also Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez, aged approximately 10-12 years through the process of “Soleras and Criaderas” in American oak butts. It is amber in colour, clear, bright, on the nose, it has a high aromatic intensity, with hints of caramel and nuts. On the palate it has a slight touch of sweetness, well-balanced and full-bodied.
