Having produced sherry for more than two and a half centuries since 1744, Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez and Manzanilla districts. It is located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river, facing the Atlantic ocean and the Donana national park.
The Monteagudo Seco Amontillado is a naturally dry sherry, and a wonderful aperitif. It is aged in American oak for a period of 10-12 years, with the process beginning as it is aged under “Flor” before being exposed to oxygen. Darker than the Fino but lighter than the Oloroso, it shows a bright amber colour, whilst on the palate it presents powerful notes of toasted nuts and wood.
Allergens: Contains sulphites.
