Description

Having produced sherry for more than two and a half centuries since 1744, Delgado Zuleta is the oldest family-owned winery in the Jerez and Manzanilla districts. It is located in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, a small coastal town at the mouth of the Guadalquivir river.

Attractive deep mahogany colour, this rare 40 year old Amontillado is intensely aromatic, fresh and complex with spicy traces of clove hazelnut and nutmeg. Dry, tangy and supremely elegant, it is very fresh as well as incredibly long and complex. Overall the Amontillado is complex and powerful with strong aromas. Good with almonds, mature cheeses and mushroom dishes.
